Filling in the Blank

[name]Every[/name] couple of months I reinvent my World War II era story. For a while the main character was [name]German[/name]-Dutch with the name [name]Sophie[/name], and a husband named [name]Emmett[/name]. Then she mutated into a [name]Cecilia[/name] with a husband named [name]Theodore[/name]. In round three of character reincarnation, I’m unsure of what to name her. For a while she was an [name]Edith[/name], but I’m unsure if that fits.
Her family is Austrian, with a few brances off in Switzerland, [name]France[/name], and the Netherlands. She was born in the begining of 1919 in [name]Vienna[/name], with two older siblings (names to follow.) She had an aunt named [name]Edith[/name] [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name] who died in [name]December[/name] of 1918 of the influenza pandemic, and my origional thought was that she was named for her. I love [name]Edith[/name], but I don’t think it matches wtih the rest of the family names.

Her parents:
[name]Otto[/name] [name]Florian[/name] [name]Emil[/name]
[name]Esther[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]

Siblings:
[name]Ottilie[/name] [name]Petronella[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Ernst[/name] [name]Heinrich[/name] [name]Ludwig[/name]
[name]Helene[/name] [name]Carolina[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]
[name]Philippa[/name] [name]Odetta[/name] Marguerite
[name]Margot[/name] [name]Ada[/name] [name]Leonora[/name]
[name]Anouk[/name] [name]Isobel[/name] [name]Doutzen[/name]
[name]Cornelius[/name] [name]Ferdinand[/name] [name]Otto[/name]

I don’t think [name]Edith[/name] goes with these. Her middle name would be [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name], but the [name]Louise[/name] is open for suggestions. So anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Well, there are a lot of different names in the sibset, but they do sort of ‘fit’ together. [name]Edith[/name] this really nice, but it seems a too ‘classic’ if you get what I mean.

I’ll try to suggest something decent, but my brain is a bit blank at the moment because its 2:43am in NZ. I’M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT NAMES FOR MY BOOK TOO! Its quite stressful, isn’t it??

[name]Lilibet[/name] /Lilibetta [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Colette[/name] [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name] [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Greta[/name] [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Willa[/name] [name]Magda[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name] Madga [name]Louise[/name]

[name]HOPE[/name] IT HELPS!!

@jasmine.lee-
Thanks for your suggestions- especially so early in the morning. I see you understand why [name]Edith[/name] stuck out. While all the names have different origins (Dutch, Greek, [name]German[/name], French) they all sort of fit together in an eclectic puzzle. The names of her siblings are more eclectic with vintage feels, while [name]Edith[/name] is too classic and old-school.
I love the suggestions of [name]Greta[/name] and [name]Harriet[/name], thanks so much.
Keep the ideas coming!

Ok…

What about…

[name]Matilda[/name] nn [name]Tilly[/name]
[name]Betsy[/name]/[name]Betty[/name]??
Ariettie/[name]Arietta[/name]
[name]Miriam[/name]??
[name]Maeve[/name]/[name]Maeva[/name]
[name]Linnea[/name]/Linnia

I don’t really know if these will fit, but hopefully it helps!!

Thanks again for the suggestions! Out of the ones you’ve listed, I like [name]Matilda[/name], with the nickname [name]Tilly[/name]. For some reason I never considered it (I did consider [name]Mathilde[/name] a little bit.)
