With [name]Samuel[/name] ([name]LOVE[/name], btw!), I prefer [name]Joseph[/name]. [name]Joseph[/name] is so versatile, it can suit anyone, and it works really well with [name]Samuel[/name]. While I’m on a [name]Nathan[/name] kick at the moment, and I love the nn [name]Nate[/name], I think the -el endings in [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] are a bit too matchy.
Good luck!
I vote for [name]Joseph[/name] although they are both nice names.
I agree. [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], but with [name]Samuel[/name] I’d definitely choose [name]Joseph[/name]. [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name] sound perfect!
I could never say no to [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name], [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Joe[/name], [name]Sammy[/name] and [name]Joey[/name].
I like [name]Joesph[/name] too as half the teachers I know have named their sons [name]Nathan[/name]. But I see your dilemma both go very well with [name]Sam[/name].
I love [name]Joseph[/name], but detest the nicknames. I love [name]Nate[/name] better than [name]Nathaniel[/name]. Lol! I voted [name]Nathaniel[/name].
I was close to voting for [name]Nathaniel[/name] until I read that brother is [name]Samuel[/name]- definitely a no on that pair for me! [name]Joseph[/name] is a great name and doesn’t have the rhyming problem.
I have to agree with most everyone else - I’m not a fan of [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] sharing the same ending; it’s a little cheesy. Therefore, I voted for [name]Joseph[/name]. It’s a great, solid name to go with [name]Samuel[/name]. If you’re really having trouble parting with [name]Nathaniel[/name]/[name]Nate[/name], what about [name]Nathan[/name] and the full name? [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name] sound great!
I’d go with [name]Joseph[/name]. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] just sounds too rhymey (excluded an ‘and’ on purpose so you get what I mean)
I voted for [name]Joseph[/name]. It’s goes so much better with [name]Samuel[/name] because it has the same feel and doesn’t end in the same letters. As catloverd and a quite a few other people said, [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name] is far too rhymey for brothers. [name]Joseph[/name] is super gorgeous and ages really well.
