So we have about 10 weeks and we’ve settled on 3 names. We both love all three and it may end up being a situation where we just need to meet her to determine which fits her best.
We would like some opinions on our top three… I’ve learned to just not ask family so nameberries it is!!!

She will have either green or light brown eyes and straight dark blonde or light brown hair. She’s been a pistol this whole pregnancy so I’m guessing I’ll have a firecracker on my hands! My son [name_u]Carson[/name_u] was super calm and that describes his disposition today!
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] would be called “[name_f]Lainey[/name_f]”
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] would be called “[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]”
My only caveat with [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is that there’s a news anchor named [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]… We like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] because it honors my dad (best friend) [name_u]Harley[/name_u]. (Hubby’s idea <3 him!)
I like [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] W- out of the three. [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]= super cute.
I wanted to choose [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], but I feel like the W at the end of [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] runs into your last name.

I agree. I think [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is the prettiest. It’s really cute with [name_u]Carson[/name_u].
But I do really like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] . . . I just feel like . . . it’s complicated.
But anyways, I like [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] best.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]! I love the tie to honoring your dad (how sweet!), and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] sounds like such a sweet, happy little firecracker. I would love to have a [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], personally. Such a fun name!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the opinions! I just went through them with DH and we’ve decided [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is out. He said it was his least favorite and although it was my favorite, if I’m really honest with myself she just doesn’t “feel” like a [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
So our little girl will be either [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] ([name_f]Poppy[/name_f]) [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] or [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] ([name_f]Lainey[/name_f]) [name_f]Paige[/name_f]!
I’m conflicted. I like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] better on its own, but I do think [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] flows best with your surname and seems like more of a natural fit with [name_u]Carson[/name_u].
I’m sad that [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is out… I would love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Delaney[/name_u]. [name_m]Ah[/name_m] well. I think my final vote is for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f].
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: just read your prev post - in which case of the two left I suppose I prefer [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], but not by much.

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] - [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]/[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is my favorite first name. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] W@gner sounds great. Works with [name_u]Carson[/name_u] too.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - great name, I think works with [name_f]Paige[/name_f] or [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. Works with brother and last name.
If you are down to the two, take both to the hospital and decide when she’s born! Congrats!
My first choice would be [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is lovely, but I don’t feel like it fits as well with [name_u]Carson[/name_u], and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] does run into your last name somewhat. I’m sad to hear [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]'s out - I think it’d fit quite nicely as well. It definitely feels fiery/spunky to me and I love it with [name_u]Carson[/name_u].
[name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] as siblings sounds gorgeous! The ‘W’ in [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] may run into your last name. So, [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is my favourite

I had a student named “[name_f]Delanie[/name_f]” once - a very cute girl. I’ve also seen a [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] on TLC’s [name_u]Baby[/name_u] [name_u]Story[/name_u]. Other than that, where I live it’s a very rare and underused name, in my opinion. With [name_f]Paige[/name_f], it’s that much more adorable!! Honestly. I love the DPW initials too!
I say, [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] if you happen to have another girl someday! My oldest niece’s name is [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], after my late Grandma. [name_u]Carson[/name_u], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] would be darling…
