I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], it would depend on the last name. If the last name was French or common I’d go with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], with an uncommon LN or began with a J sound I’d go with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
It’s a bit [name_m]French[/name_m] yes
While all three of these names are beautiful, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is my pick. To me, it is the epitome of elegance and sophistication, while also being wearable. It’s current but not trendy, and has a lot of history. It also splits the popularity between common [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and less-heard [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f].
I actually plan to use the same nicknames for [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f]/[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. So [name_f]Elle[/name_f] & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
With [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f], I also like [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Leia[/name_f] (because of how the leo part of the name is pronounced)
I like elizabeth a lot but I don’t like [name_f]Liz[/name_f] or [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f].
And I love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] too but I can’t find a nickname I like apart from [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]/[name_f]Ginny[/name_f]
I do love all three names though, which is why I need help narrowing it down haha
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]! Classic, but not overused. Feminine but not frilly. Lots of great nicknames but doesn’t need one.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], although a regal classic is kind of common. Like wise with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], which is steadily growing in popularity. [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f] is beautiful. Many beautiful nicknames for her to choose, as she grows!
[name_f]Do[/name_f] have to agree that [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a bit too common now
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. It strikes the perfect balance between exotic Euro-chic [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f] and classic, nickname-rich [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Super chic, not overused and gives her loads of lovely options for shortening ([name_f]Gen[/name_f], [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]…).
[name_f]Eleonora[/name_f] – safe choice; most ladylike
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] – too safe of a choice
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] – safe choice; most regal
I’ve never heard eleonora being described as euro-chic haha ”
I’m seeing a lot of people being split between eleonora and genevieve hahaha
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would be my pick. It’s gorgeous, and there’s a lot of great nickname potential.
Aw thank you I guess the only thing keeping me from just picking genevieve would be the doubt that [name_f]Gen[/name_f]/[name_f]Genny[/name_f]/[name_f]Genna[/name_f] will be the immediate nicknames. It’s a shame for such a beautiful name
