Final 3! Please help!

[name]Hi[/name] all,

My DH and I are torn between 3 names with 4 weeks left to go. I appreciate all your input!! Big brother is [name]Tyler[/name] “[name]Ty[/name]”…

[name]Ryan[/name] [name]Michael[/name] (Dh not crazy about it)
[name]Aiden[/name] [name]Michael[/name] (too popular???)
[name]Jameson[/name] [name]Michael[/name] (think of whiskey??)

I like [name]Aidan[/name] (this is the Irish spelling) the best with [name]Tyler[/name]. [name]Ryan[/name] is ok but [name]Ty[/name] and [name]Ry[/name] are a little matchy. [name]Jameson[/name] sounds stuffy next to the spunky [name]Tyler[/name].

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Michael[/name]. In fact, it was in our top three (same first and middle). I’m not sure it goes with [name]Tyler[/name] so much. I think [name]Ryan[/name] would be my first choice - but like mischa said, [name]Ty[/name] and [name]Ry[/name] are too matchy so I would call him [name]Ryan[/name]. My second choice would be [name]Aiden[/name].

Great Feedback ladies!! I have the same thoughts about [name]Ty[/name] and [name]Ry[/name]…NOT a fan of that. Is [name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Aidan[/name] too popular though??

In the US last year, [name]Aiden[/name] (this spelling) was No# 9 (that’s 15,389 boys). The spelling [name]Aidan[/name] was less popular at No# 107 (3,685 boys). Remember these stats are NATIONAL so they may not reflect your area. If you live in [name]America[/name], you can go into the Social Security website and enter your state to see how popular the name is in your neck of the woods. St. [name]Aidan[/name] lived in the 600’s so although the name may have a contemporary sound it actually has a long history.

Whether you mind the popularity of [name]Aidan[/name] or not is up to you. And while your specific area might not have as many baby [name]Aidan[/name]'s as somewhere else, the national ratings reflect state and local ratings pretty well.

[name]Aidan[/name] is the best match with [name]Tyler[/name]. It is popular, but that’s because it’s a pretty great name. [name]Ryan[/name] is also good, but yes, [name]Ry[/name] and [name]Ty[/name] is a deal breaker. [name]Jameson[/name] would be my 2nd choice.

[name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Aidan[/name] is my favorite from your list but it is popular. I also think it’s the best with [name]Tyler[/name].

I actually love the name [name]Jameson[/name] and thinks is sounds ok with [name]Tyler[/name]. Are sibsets really important to you?
I know a [name]Tyler[/name] and [name]Dylan[/name] sibset which I think really works too!

Definitely [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Michael[/name]!! I think it sounds great

I like [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Michael[/name] the best!
