Our baby girl is due in a week. We love [name_f]NORA[/name_f] for the first name, but hubs is pretty insistent on [name_f]Concetta[/name_f] for middle name to honor a family member who passed away. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Concetta[/name_f] is not my favorite combo at all. But kinda stuck here. Does it sound awful? I know its an important decision but I’m feeling so crappy I barely have energy to argue with hubs over it haha.
It doesn’t sound awful at all. At least you adore her first name, if you’re willing to let him have this.
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] would be cute too for [name_f]Concetta[/name_f], and then you could choose a middle you love more. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] was on my list for a long time.
Sounds like you’re set on [name_f]Nora[/name_f] though, and if you plan to have more kids, the next middle could honor family on your side. Good luck!
I think it’s lovely. You could always christen her [name_f]Honora[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] and use [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as a nn.
[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Concetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Honora[/name_f] [name_f]Concetta[/name_f]
These flow better I think than plain [name_f]Nora[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Concetta[/name_f] sounds perfectly adorable! If you love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and he’s set on using [name_f]Concetta[/name_f] then I think you have your name unless for some reason you are against using [name_f]Concetta[/name_f] at all. If it’s just the flow or the fact that they both end the same, I think you shouldn’t get too hung up on it. Both names are beautiful and together it sounds great. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t overthink it! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps
