I am 18 weeks pregnant and really want to have a name for this baby before our ultrasound on the 18th of [name]December[/name]! We have our boys name nailed down ( [name]Leon[/name] ( pn [name]Lee[/name]- Inn) [name]Owen[/name]). We can’t seem to decide on a middle name for a girl! Our 3 year old is named [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. This is what we have so far:
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] Sanborn ( [name]Natalie[/name] is my [name]MIL[/name]'s name)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Christine[/name] Sanborn ( My middle name and my great grandmother’s)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] Sanborn ( My great aunt)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Neve[/name] Sanborn ( just like it)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] Sanborn ( just like it)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Diana[/name] ( We live near a beautiful waterfall called [name]Diana[/name]'s Bath)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Violet[/name] ( my other great grandmother’s name)
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] ( great aunt’s name)
Help me narrow this down! I am going insane trying to make the cut!
I like [name]Juno[/name] [name]Christine[/name] & [name]Juno[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] best. They are all quite nice combos though. [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is also a very pretty name. [name]Ruby[/name] & [name]Juno[/name] are good together too. If you ever looked to change [name]Juno[/name], I think [name]Onyx[/name] is nice too.
I’d go with [name]Juno[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name].
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is a very feminine, pretty name - whereas [name]Juno[/name] isn’t too girly which means it’ll need a super girly name with it, which is where [name]Seraphina[/name] comes in!
I wouldn’t go with:
~ [name]Juno[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] - too many ‘n’ sounds
~ [name]Juno[/name] [name]Neve[/name] - again, too many ‘n’ sounds
~ [name]Juno[/name] [name]Christine[/name] - just doesn’t flow well in my opinion
~ [name]Juno[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] - doesn’t sound feminine enough for me
~ [name]Juno[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] - again! Too many n’s
So it’d be out of [name]Juno[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name], [name]Juno[/name] [name]Diana[/name] and [name]Juno[/name] [name]Violet[/name] I’ve already told you my favourite!
Good luck x
[name]Love[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Juno[/name] together. [name]Juno[/name] [name]Diana[/name] is definitely my favorite, though it’s a lot of [name]Roman[/name] mythology for one name.
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] would be my next fave.
[name]Leon[/name] [name]Owen[/name] is beautiful. It does make me IMMEDIATELY think of [name]Anna[/name] Leonowens from The [name]King[/name] and I though.
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Violet[/name] & [name]Juno[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] stand out to me. [name]Both[/name] are stunning! [name]Juno[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] and [name]Juno[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] are lovely too.
I find [name]Natalie[/name] and especially [name]Christine[/name] quite dull and dated.
Can I make a suggestion? I think [name]Juno[/name] [name]Layla[/name] sounds pretty.
But definitely go with [name]Seraphina[/name]-it is such a gorgeous, magnificent name!! To me it sounds like a more extravagant name than [name]Sienna[/name], but a little more suitable than [name]Serenity[/name]. I even think you should go with [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Juno[/name]. I think it sounds prettier and [name]Seraphina[/name] goes well with [name]Ruby[/name]-more than [name]Juno[/name]!!
I find [name]Leon[/name] [name]Owen[/name] super hard to say because the length and letters are so hard to say. Like an above poster mentioned, it comes out like Leonowens ‘lee-un-oh-ens’.
[name]Juno[/name] [name]Violet[/name] is my favourite
I don’t know where you live but I pronounce [name]Leon[/name] like it’s written (lee-on). [name]Leon[/name] [name]Owen[/name] is very matchy in sound and they blend together (Leonowen).
My favorite after saying them all is [name]Juno[/name] [name]Christine[/name]. I think is sounds beautiful and flows very well. I also like the connection with you and your great grandmother. My second choice would be [name]Juno[/name] [name]Violet[/name]. It goes very well with [name]Ruby[/name] [name]Grace[/name] too. Also, I think [name]Leon[/name] [name]Owen[/name] is perfect! Congratulations!
Thanks everyone! [name]Leon[/name] [name]Owen[/name] is our pick for our boy and we love it. [name]Leon[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] are two very important men in my hubby’s life. In [name]Maine[/name]- it is pronounced ( [name]Lee[/name] - IN) and we will most likely call him [name]Leo[/name]!
I love [name]Juno[/name] [name]Diana[/name]- especially for all the Goddessy references, but didn’t know if [name]Diana[/name] was [name]WAY[/name] too 1980’s. We are pretty set on [name]Juno[/name] for a first name. [name]June[/name] is a family name for hubby and we wanted to honor that, while still giving her her own name. Plus- it was the battle where hubby’s grandfather fought in WWII ( [name]Juno[/name] [name]Beach[/name]) AND it is a kick ass name. Also- hubby is only open to family names- so we have a short list t work from.
