Okay, Im full-term now and need to complete my name list!!! Can you please tell me which option you like best for the [name_f]Elora[/name_f] category? And, then, which name you like best for the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] category? And, finally, which one is your favorite overall? Many thanks in advance!!!
Also, what do you think of when you hear the name [name_f]Elora[/name_f]? What type of girl?
Finally, can we use the nickname [name_f]Elle[/name_f] for [name_f]Elora[/name_f] and/or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], should we decide to?
I like both [name_f]Elora[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but together they are very similar. I like many of sorceress’s suggestions. I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f], probably because [name_f]Holiday[/name_f] is one of my favorite girls names ever. Actually I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] better than [name_f]Elora[/name_f], despite the popularity. Best of luck!
My vote is for [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], I do not mind the alliteration. I think it is beautiful, has a familiar yet uncommon first name and a classic middle name.
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] is very pretty, it’s unique and yet versatile (which is rare). I can see it on a quite girl (similar to [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f]) or a whimsical fun girl (like Elowyn or [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]) and it kind of has a magical undertone (like Endora or alluring or [name_f]Moira[/name_f]).
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] - I kinda like this… a lot actually. It has a smokey feel to it like [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] - super pretty, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] sounds like the full name of a celebrity (like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] and [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m])
You could totally use the the nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] for either name
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] is so cute! A great choice for the middle as it is unique yet goes so well with the first name. Good luck and keep ups updated!X
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a bit sing-songy and repetitive to me. [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] sounds great–is [name_m]Davis[/name_m] a family name? [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_u]Madison[/name_u] sounds fine tho I would prefer [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. Some other ideas: [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]…
I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] too, but I think [name_f]Elora[/name_f] has something special. [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] is on my long list, but I think I like Elora better! And yes I think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is a fine nn for either name.
Out of your list I like [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] the best. Second would be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f]. I definitely think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is usable for a nickname for either name
Hmm…
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] is a gorgeous name. My favourite [name_f]Elora[/name_f] combination is [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] even though I’m not a great fan of alliteration the combination is sweet and wholesome.
My favourite [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] combination is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holiday[/name_f] the name has a lovely wholesome edge.
I have to agree with most people, I really like [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] is lovely too. I prefer the [name_f]Elora[/name_f] combination over the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] combination. But either way your daughter will have a beautiful name.
I love both [name_f]Elora[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!! I really dislike your middle name options though. The flow is off and they seem very surnamey. I would love to see:
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] is my favorite. [name_f]Elora[/name_f] makes me think of [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] which makes me think of old ladies. I think [name_f]Elle[/name_f] will work for either.
Many of the middle names sound surnamey because it’s tradition in my family to use surnames as middle names I like it, but we may save [name_m]Davis[/name_m] for a boy’s FN if we have a son some day!
So the final two we will be deciding between are [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] (her great-grandmother’s full name before marriage). Right now, I’m leaning towards [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but I will let you all know what we decide when we meet her!!!
Thank you, also, for the mn suggestions. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Holly[/name_f] are just not my style. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is actually being used as a mn by a few couples I know having babies this year, so it’s just too trendy for me right now. But some people love it!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f]
It’s strong and lovely
I am not keen on [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as a nn, it’s just sooo popular
Prefer; [name_f]Liza[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Zee[/name_f], [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f]. If you’re using [name_f]Elora[/name_f], I’d go with [name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I like the alliteration.
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] is a town near my city that is supposed to have beautiful scenery, so the name makes me think of nature, beauty, picturesque rivers, etc. It’s a positive association for me.
Oh, and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is a great nickname for both!
