Hey berries!
So me and my partner have found two names that we both adore! We already have a son named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Slade[/name_m] who is 1 (will be 2 when the twins are born) What do you think about these names (twin girls) ?
[name_f]Noella[/name_f] [name_u]Salem[/name_u]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you picture a girl with these names?
Thoughts/opinions welcome!!
[name_f]Novella[/name_f] is very pretty.
What about [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]? [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is cute but feels more like a nickname
Good luck
I agree with pp in that [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] feels a nickname and maybe she should have a more formal name to fall back on as an adult, if she likes. I love Soleil for you (so-LAY) which means sun and maybe you would like that. Noella and Soleil go nicely together. [name_f]Noella[/name_f] is pretty.
I like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] (or even [name_u]Noel[/name_u]) better than [name_f]Noella[/name_f]. It’s just too much for me. But I love [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]. I actually think it would sound better flipped: [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]. I like [name_u]Salem[/name_u]. IDK, in my opinion, these four names are all a totally different style and don’t really go well. But if you like them, that doesn’t matter! If I met a [name_f]Noella[/name_f], I’d tell her that her name is really pretty. If I were friends with a [name_f]Noella[/name_f], I’d probably call her [name_f]Elle[/name_f], because I like using nicknames. If I met a [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], I’d say her name is really cute, although it might be weird if she were more introverted, emo/goth/whatever the kids are calling it nowadays.
I am not strong on [name_u]Salem[/name_u], though if it has meaning for you that is nice. I think the first connection most people think of when hearing [name_u]Salem[/name_u] are the [name_u]Salem[/name_u] Witch Trials. I agree with a previous poster that [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] seems a big incomplete but I think their suggestions of [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] or [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] would be really awesome. I just think that with [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] there are no real fall back options/nicknames. It also find of makes me just to [name_u]Sonny[/name_u].
My first thought when seeing these names was how they are kind of opposite. [name_f]Noella[/name_f] (like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]) is association with [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] whereas [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] gives very summer vibes. Which, if you live in the Northern hemisphere, are kind of opposite.
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] would be my choice.
Not a fan of [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] on its own. Cute on a little girl but I couldn’t picture it on a doctor or lawyer or senator. [name_f]Noella[/name_f] is beautiful!
I love [name_f]Noella[/name_f]! But I also agree that [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is more of a nickname imo.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about?
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f]
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Saison[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonata[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonnet[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonora[/name_f]
