[name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] and [name]Della[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], definitely no. [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Maribelle[/name] are practically the same name, and [name]Della[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] ARE the same name.
Can I be a pain and vote for [name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]? I know they aren’t an option together - I’m sorry to be obnoxious! I just [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] as sisters - gorgeous! To me, [name]Mae[/name] is so sleek and vintage, and [name]Adela[/name] is an undiscovered vintage gem. I’ve never been a fan of [name]Gwen[/name] - It feels more dated to me and I find it a bit awkward/harsh to say. [name]Marie[/name] also seems a tad dated. That said, all your names are ultimately strong, classic choices - you can’t go wrong!
What about [name]Mabel[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name] nn [name]Gwen[/name]? [name]Gwen[/name] and [name]Mae[/name] sounds cute
I vote [name]Mae[/name] [name]Aveline[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] [name]Arden[/name]. Definitely no for [name]Della[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name].
I too want to be obnoxious and vote for [name]Mae[/name] [name]Aveline[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]. I love [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] as sisters!
I voted for [name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name], but I love [name]Adela[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] the best of all your combos. My second favourite is [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name]. [name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] is sweet together but I’m not too fond of either name on its own. [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] is definitely too close and I don’t really like [name]Della[/name] (strange then that I love [name]Adela[/name]).
Okay [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] are definitely in the finals now. Thanks for being obnoxious, it never crossed my mind before, and I love them together!
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Aveline[/name]- I find this combo hard to say- my brain keeps wanting to say '[name]Maeve[/name]-eline" and [name]Gwen[/name] [name]Arden[/name]
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name]
[name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Della[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] This combo is also tricky to say as [name]Della[/name] and [name]Adel[/name] are quite similar and [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name]
[name]How[/name] about [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Marie[/name] (nn [name]Gwen[/name]) and [name]Adelaide[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (nn [name]Della[/name] or [name]Adela[/name])?
I votes for [name]Mae[/name] [name]Aveline[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] [name]Arden[/name] because I have this thing of liking names to be a similar length.
Otherwise I might have voted for the stunning [name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name]. (I probably would if they go by their full fn/mn combo for the rest of their lives. ;))
I love the combo of [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name]. I don’t think [name]Gwen[/name] seems dated at all. I have to agree that [name]Della[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] are not good combos as they both seem to be variations of the same name.
The logic behind my vote:
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Aveline[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] [name]Arden[/name] - [name]Gwen[/name] [name]Arden[/name] doesn’t flow well, though [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] make great sisters (older names, one syllable). Not sure how they fit with the more carefree [name]Rosalie[/name] though. In the running.
[name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name] - better than the above. [name]Gwendolyn[/name] makes [name]Gwen[/name] a bit more frilly. [name]Mae[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], and [name]Rosalie[/name] sound like princess sisters! Plus these names flow so nicely. In the running.
[name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] - I can’t get [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] off my tounge well. And [name]Marie[/name] sounds very similiar to [name]Rosalie[/name]. Out.
[name]Della[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name] and [name]Marie[/name] [name]Maribelle[/name] - see above. Plus [name]Della[/name] is too nickname-y for my tastes. Out.
[name]Mae[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] - Not bad. [name]Adela[/name] is more feminine than [name]Gwendolyn[/name], but I’m not the biggest fan of [name]Adela[/name] for some reason. But not on the ballot, so I don’t have to worry about it.
My vote goes for [name]Mae[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Maria[/name].
My only concern with [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Gwendolyn[/name] together is that twins tend to compare everything. [name]Mae[/name] might feel like her name is less substantial given that it consists of just one consonant and one vowel sound, while her sister’s name has six consonants and three vowel sounds. I like [name]Mae[/name], but it just seems drastically different from [name]Gwendolyn[/name].
I actually love [name]Della[/name] and [name]Marie[/name] or [name]Adela[/name] and [name]Marie[/name]. Completely unexpected and fresh. I also like [name]Mae[/name]. The only one I detest on your list is [name]Gwen[/name].
I feel the same way as boyandgirl. I also love the suggestions of [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] together.
[name]Marie[/name] and [name]Adela[/name] are nice together too and actually could have the nicknames [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Della[/name].
