i can’t vote, they are both great
your relatives will be psyched either way!
I voted [name]Elijah[/name]. It has been the name for my next boy for the last 20 years! (I am not having more children at age 52!)
[name]Ilias[/name] is a variation of [name]Elijah[/name] which can still spin nn [name]Eli[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name] is a better name than [name]Elijah[/name] for sure, but I’m not the biggest fan of [name]Joe[/name]/[name]Joey[/name]. But [name]Jay[/name] is a fantastic alternative! Jeez, I’m considering adding it to my list! Definitely [name]Joseph[/name] nn [name]Jay[/name] (especially if it has literary connections!).
[name]Elijah[/name] is boring and overused. [name]Joseph[/name] is a classic and the nickname [name]Jay[/name] really brightens it up.
I voted for [name]Joseph[/name] [name]Scott[/name] just because [name]Joseph[/name] is one of my all time favourites and [name]Elijah[/name] is getting so common!
I like [name]Joseph[/name] solely because you will be using [name]Jay[/name] from The Great [name]Gatsby[/name] as the nickname.
I actually went to school with a guy named [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Scott[/name] ([name]Scott[/name] was his last name).
I prefer [name]Joseph[/name] or [name]Eli[/name]. Not a fan of [name]Elijah[/name].
I too love [name]Joseph[/name]. If you call him [name]Jay[/name] from day 1 then everybody will tend to do the same. Though all Josephs I know go by [name]Joe[/name] or [name]Joey[/name]. I know two little boys called [name]Jacob[/name] and they both go by [name]Jay[/name], which seems a more natural nn. But [name]Joseph[/name] is sweet.
