I should have checked before, but I googled [name]Kate[/name] [name]Mercer[/name] and there is a famous photographer named [name]Kate[/name] [name]Mercer[/name]. And, there is an author name [name]Kate[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]. [name]Kate[/name] Compton is a model…never even heard of her. [name]Kate[/name] [name]Carter[/name] is good to go. so is Lavery. I don’t want to, but I may have to go back to the “drwing board” in my case the phone book or 5,000 Most Common Last Names in the U.S. | Name Census and try to find something else. Any help would be great.
Ok, I went through your surname list to find last names that sounded fine with both [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Kate[/name] (had to eliminate names ending in “n” and "t"sounds). Here are some surnames that I think work well.
