[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
I’m still fairly early in this pregnancy so I don’t know the gender of this baby yet, but I’ve been a long time name nerd so of course I already have my choices for each gender
[name_f]My[/name_f] partner has agreed to these choices and he loves them just as much as I do, so hopefully, I don’t change my mind five months down the road. Middle names are family names.
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is lovely. I’ve never cared for [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] on its own, because I always think of [name_f]Vespa[/name_f], but it’s a nice combo. I definitely prefer [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelled this way. [name_m]How[/name_m] are you pronouncing [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], though? The “authentic” pronunciation of this spelling could cause some confusion. Probably not a big deal in the middle name spot, though.
I don’t really like [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] at all. It has a Trekkiness to it, which I guess could be a good thing if that’s what you’re going for. And I feel like it may be asking too much. It just doesn’t feel very much like a name to me. I also don’t care for the double -er endings in [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. But I’m sure it will work fine for you, and It’s always wonderful to have names picked out so early!
Your choices are very quirky. I love [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. I also love the [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelling more. [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] is cute and I love the meaning. It does give me a Nerdy vibe but I dig that.
[name_m]Both[/name_m] are very nice. [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] I’ve not heard really. I’m thinking it will grow on me, I feel like it sounds like a car or snake or space ship but only because its a heard sound and different combination which is used for those things. [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] I adore.
