Both are great names. Honestly, which I prefer has everything to do with the last name and any mn that you might want to use.

However, in the absence of that information, I slightly prefer [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. It seems more versatile than [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. to me, [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is playful, fun, maybe artistic. [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] seems more solid, strong, and serious but use of a nickname like [name_u]Ren[/name_u] or [name_u]Rennie[/name_u] would make it playful, fun, and arty.

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f], all the way! [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] is so dated to me. [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], by contrast, is lively and fun, and pretty evergreen at the moment.

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]'s far more spunkier than boring [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], though I am tempted to say ‘[name_m]Zo[/name_m]’ with this spelling. [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] is much more obviously [name_m]Zo[/name_m]-ee.

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] got my vote! I love it. I do see the cute, lively, fun, playful side of [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], but I also see [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] as regal, thanks to the empresses who wore the name hundreds of years ago, and wise, thanks to the middle-aged Zoes I’ve met, and strong. I disagree that [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] can only fit one personality–I think she can be anyone. She’s such a beautiful, strong, charming name, and I think any little one would be lucky to bear the name!

Thanks everyone. I really like hearing your input. Keep it coming!

I voted [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. To me it is classic and strong. I think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is a much trendier choice and I believe it is one of those names that will become dated in a few years.

I like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]. It has energy.

I voted for [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. I know lots and lots of [name_m]Laurens[/name_m], and I normally love Z names, but [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] has just never done it for me. There was a TV programme on when I was younger called [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] 101, and I think it made it seem so familiar is a bit bland to me.

I personally prefer [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. It sounds more grounded and sophisticated to me. I’ve known a lot of energetic dogs named [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], so that might affect my opinion, but [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] just feels “younger” somehow.
