Finally, a name that's not Ashley or Kailee!

So as I was going through a discussion forum for one of my classes, I stumbled upon this name Oralea ([name]Ora[/name]-lee). I think it’s really pretty, except that I just discovered that it is essentially 'Orally." Hmm…
WDYT?

lol, I’d much rather meet an [name]Ashley[/name] than an Oralea. I happen to love my name. I think [name]Aurelie[/name]'s a similar name, stunning, but doesn’t have the “orally” connections when said properly (I believe the proper French pronunciation is oh-ray-lee).

Oh dear… I’m afraid that wouldn’t fly by middle school. What about [name]Coralie[/name] instead?

I have nothing against [name]Ashley[/name], per se, it’s just that, being born in the 90s, you’re bound to have a few in your classes. I liked Oralea until I made the connection (I thought it was Orr-leah at first). [name]Orla[/name] would work better.

Yeah, I have to agree that one’s a mean middle school nickname waiting to happen.
I like the idea of [name]Coralie[/name].
[name]Aurelia[/name] (means “golden”)
[name]Oriole[/name] (like the little yellow bird)
[name]Oriella[/name]… on the edge of sounding like “oral,” but less so than Oralea.

Mm [name]Orla[/name] is wonderful. Maybe even as a nn for [name]Orlando[/name]? Can [name]Orlando[/name] be used on a girl? [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Woolf[/name] thought so…

I want to like it but all I can think of is “orally” and a toothbrush company. Like previous posts have said I would like [name]Aurelie[/name] or [name]Orla[/name] better.

I don’t hate [name]Ashley[/name], but it’s been ruined for me because it’s so overdone that it’s kind of lost any and all “substance” to me. I would like it otherwise because I really love all of the other [name]Ash[/name] names.
