I had my baby girl on [name_f]September[/name_f] 22, and as soon as I saw her I knew her name was [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I was between the names [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] fits her perfectly.
I fell in love with the name [name_u]Harper[/name_u] after hearing it so many times. It’s also perfect because it has a musical connection to it, and her father plays the bass and I’m very passionate about music. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is her middle name because all throughout my pregnancy I thought I wouldn’t be able to keep her and I would have to put her up for adoption since I’m only 20. However, so many things fell into place (and still are), so it’s really been God’s grace that has let me keep her. I was also in a group called Embrace [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and the word “grace” kept popping up during my entire pregnancy. She’s a real blessing to me, and I love her and her name so much!
