Finally found grandma's names!

I didn’t know much about my maternal Grandmother, she passed when I was very young. A relative sent me a memory book she, my grandmother had filled out about her life and I found a list of her siblings names in it. I’ve been wanting to add some family namesakes to my girls list for babe #2 coming in [name_u]January[/name_u]. Problem is, these are all short names, I really prefer 3+ syllables. [name_m]Can[/name_m] y’all help me add on to some of these? Maybe finding longer versions of? If that makes sense. Or finding a name that one of these could be the nick name of.

Grandmas name: [name_f]Velma[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] born 1912. Her mother and father were [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_f]Lois[/name_f].

Wow, y’all are awesome! :raised_hands: Between my pregnancy brain and have been looking at names for months, I feel like my creativity/inspiration was run out.

Viridiana,Verdiana,Verdianne are all so beautiful! I love V names and [name_f]Vira[/name_f]/Vera would be a perfect NN. I love the meaning and it references an Italian [name_m]Saint[/name_m], which ties in my father’s side heritage. [name_u]Win[/name_u]!

Aloisa, how haven’t I heard of this name before? I love the pronunciation [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-lou-eeza. And the meaning of warrior is cool. I love pretty girl names with tough meanings.

I’m still looking up meaning of other names mentioned, but yes [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] is great on its own, I agree. Lots of good options, thanks again!
