I’m due in 2wks and have spent the last 38wks stressing over names, especially boys. We think we have narrowed down to 2
Which do you prefer?
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name]
[name]Joel[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name]
for a girl we like
[name]Brielle[/name] [name]Joy[/name] [name]Newman[/name]
What do you all think?
BTW our other 2 daughters names are
Aleisia [name]Ruth[/name]
and
[name]Sianna[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated as we’re deliberately not asking family or friends for their advice.
I really like the sound, look and flow of [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name]. [name]Joel[/name] is fine but the three-syllable [name]Josiah[/name] really stands out.
[name]Brielle[/name] is a little trendy right now but I think the style fits well with your other daughters.
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] would be my pick. Very handsome.
[name]Brielle[/name] is NMS, but definitely fits well with your daughters. [name]Brielle[/name] [name]Joy[/name] [name]Newman[/name] feels quite choppy to me. Would [name]Briella[/name] [name]Joy[/name] be an option?
Personally I prefer [name]Joel[/name] to [name]Josiah[/name]. [name]Josiah[/name] is VERY biblical to me, almost too biblical. [name]Joel[/name] is a biblical name as well, but it seems a bit calmer to me, more of an everyman kind of name. [name]Both[/name] are good options, though.
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name] would be my choice! I totally [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Brielle[/name] [name]Joy[/name]! You have very good taste! Beautiful!
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name] is a fine and handsome name. [name]Joel[/name] is kind of bland next to [name]Josiah[/name]. [name]Brielle[/name] [name]Joy[/name] flows well but [name]Brielle[/name] is VERY trendy.
Thank you to all who have responded so far. It’s very interesting that a few of you said [name]Brielle[/name] is very trendy ATM cause in Australia where I live I searched to find out popularity and hardly any which is a good thing, just hope it doesn’t start becoming really trendy and popular!
Thank you for your encouraging post, such a big decision choosing names and I have put SO much time into searching and searching so its nice to know someone loves my choices!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name], sounds great. [name]Brielle[/name] [name]Joy[/name] isn’t my style but its nice enough.
I love [name]Joel[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name]. I love that [name]Joel[/name] is a perfectly recognizable name that isn’t too popular, but has been steadily used over a long period of time. I wouldn’t consider it dated in terms of any specific period. [name]Josiah[/name] is nice as well and I like the flow of [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name], but it is definitely part of an upward trend so I see it becoming more common.
[name]Brielle[/name] fits in nicely with your daughters’ names although I prefer [name]Briella[/name] or [name]Gabrielle[/name] nn [name]Brielle[/name]. [name]Joy[/name] is a good mn. Good luck!
I really love [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Newman[/name]. [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Newman[/name] sounds amazing, and I’ve always had a serious thing for [name]Josiah[/name]. Then I met a [name]Josiah[/name], and that sort of ruined it for me, but I do really love it still. I just imagine the cutest little boy named [name]Josiah[/name], smart, happy, kind, affectionate.
