Finally got a proper shortlist

We both find girl names far easier than boys. In my family girls have two middle names, so there will be two. Surname is long and very Gaelic (the Gaelic form is used always) with a Ní

While I love a lot of name, we have it down to 3/6 names. Thoughts? change the order (the first name must be [name_m]French[/name_m])?

Léopoldine Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u] Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]
[name_f]Claudine[/name_f] Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]

Léopoldine Róisín [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u] Róisín [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]
[name_f]Claudine[/name_f] Róisín [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]

The combination that stands out the most is Léopoldine Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u].

Léopoldine is such a strong name, and I love it with sweet Bríd and elegant [name_u]Carmel[/name_u].

Léopoldine is my favorite and [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] my least favorite. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have nicknames in mind?

No, we kind of think that nicknames will develop naturally. We had to dictate it with the last one but don’t have that problem this time around.
[name_f]Claudine[/name_f] would be [name_u]Claude[/name_u] though (which I love on a girl but I’m not allowed to have it as the fullname)

My vote goes to either Léopoldine Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u], or [name_f]Claudine[/name_f] Bríd [name_u]Carmel[/name_u]!! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Brid[/name_f] in the center.
I think of [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] as being a bit more masculine.

Cluadine is gorgeous! Both middles are really nice too, but I think I’m leaning towards [name_f]Brid[/name_f] just a tad though. But whatever you decide will be lovely.

hmm, thanks.
I’m sad about [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] but maybe my husband was right, it sounds better to [name_m]French[/name_m]-speaking ears but just doesn’t work in non-Francophone places.
