2 of each, the suspense was building.
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] morning, our 8lbs 6oz precious baby came.
It’s a Girl!
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], calling her [name_f]Evie[/name_f].
- [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is pronounced with a -[name_u]Lynn[/name_u] ending, homage to my grandmother [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] whom I was very close to.
- [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] means “lovable” We dug it up from my father’s family tree when he passed away this fall.
- [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is for me, that’s my name.
Though she has many lovely names with significance, she is known as [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (ee-vie), a name all her own.
The girls are thrilled to finally have a baby sister, and the boys are happy to be big Brothers to a baby girl to protect and love.
Now it’s a matter of adjusting to 5 kids 7yrs and younger. Gulp!
