Finally, six days overdue, I would like to announce the birth of my first daughter. She was born on [name_f]July[/name_f] 27th, 2014. She had some minor birth complications so she had to stay at the hospital for 1 day: But she is home safe and sound and is as healthy as ever!
Now, the name…
Penta [name_u]Matisse[/name_u]
I came across the first name Penta when I was three months pregnant and vowed to use it ever since. I just thought it was a gorgeous Italian gem, I also love the futuristic feel along with he connection to geometry.
Her middle name, [name_u]Matisse[/name_u], is inspired by DH’s favourite artist; I also like the glossy, polished feel to it. To make matters better: this is very similar to the german name [name_m]Mathis[/name_m], a variation of [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], which was my grandfather’s name!
