BUMPED
Here’s the Thursday bump (as with before there will be one more on [name]Sunday[/name] before we have our final winners).
Final calling for this tournament! FYI, since the boy’s race here has been very close, if any contest ends up tied the rule I decided from the start is that I’d cast the tiebreaking vote; that’s also why I do not vote in the polls (so there’s no chance of my vote counting twice if a tiebreaker is necessary).
The tournament has concluded! The boy’s race did indeed finish in a tie, so my tie-breaking vote goes to…[name]James[/name]. [name]Margaret[/name] clearly won for the girls.
So the winners out of the Top 16 of the 1930s are [name]James[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name]! Later today I’ll be posting some more insight on the names from this tournament on the “Talk About Names” board (now up).
