The middle name hubby likes is [name]Sierra[/name]. I’m not sure I like it. I may be willing if there’s another middle name I like to go with it. But it has to flow. I don’t think [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Sierra[/name] flows well.
The middle names I’m liking right now are:
[name]Love[/name] (my fav right now)
[name]Rae[/name] (second fav right now)
[name]Hope[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Janay[/name]
[name]Layne[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] (just added this to my list)
My daughter & myself both have virtue middle names ([name]Joy[/name] & [name]Grace[/name]) so I’d really like to use another virtue name. Hubby hasn’t said yet if there’s one he likes.
I don’t know if hubby is stuck on [name]Sierra[/name] & waiting for me to come around to it (not sure that will happen) or if he’s just being difficult.
My vote goes to [name]Hope[/name]! I like the idea of the shared virtue mn and I’ve always liked [name]Hope[/name]. [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Love[/name] are also nice.
I don’t think I like the flow of [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Sierra[/name].
[name]Arrow[/name] [name]Sky[/name]
[name]Arrow[/name] [name]Sage[/name]
[name]Arrow[/name] [name]Jean[/name] (I prefer [name]Jane[/name] in this case, but putting it out there)
[name]Arrow[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Jean[/name] is my mother’s middle name & my aunt’s & my cousin’s AND her husband’s. I have obvious reason to not go with [name]Jean[/name]. Besides, my mother-in-law would be SOO jealous!
[name]Sage[/name] was a possible first name before we agreed on [name]Arrow[/name] & hubby had said no to that.
I like [name]Rose[/name], but I struggle with [name]Arrow[/name] & [name]Rose[/name] having the same ending & beginning sound.
Another word type name sounds a bit silly with [name]Arrow[/name], so I say No to [name]Love[/name], [name]Rae[/name], [name]Hope[/name] and [name]Layne[/name]. [name]Sierra[/name] is a word too…and I agree, it does not flow well.

Removing [name]Layne[/name] from my list 'cause [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Layne[/name] sounds like a street. [name]Don[/name]'t know why I didn’t notice that at first.
Sorry niteowl13 but most your list my hubby would not know how to pronounce. If he can’t pronounce it, we can’t use it. I know too many [name]Marion[/name]'s that are towns. Not fond of [name]Fay[/name] or [name]Elaine[/name]. [name]Alexis[/name] is my daughter’s best friend. [name]Jolie[/name]…[name]Angelina[/name] [name]Jolie[/name], no thanks.
My father-in-law’s middle name is [name]Ray[/name] & my dad’s middle name is [name]Lee[/name] & I had [name]Ray[/name] [name]Lee[/name] or even [name]Lee[/name] [name]Ray[/name] on my list for boys but I think Raelee would work for a girl middle name except that hubby doesn’t like [name]Lee[/name] or any variation of it at all. I’m also considering [name]Raelynn[/name] or Rayelle. I’m just not sure how well an R middle name flows. [name]Just[/name] seems like too many Rs.
Nah, [name]Verity[/name] is too close to variety. And I didn’t even know that was a virtue 'til I looked in the book. Not one of the ones I like. Sorry.
My middle name list for [name]Arrow[/name] currently is:
[name]Love[/name]
[name]Hope[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Rae[/name] (or [name]Raelynn[/name] or Rayelle)
[name]Sierra[/name] (hubby still likes…trying to get him to tell me why he likes it)
[name]Don[/name]'t think hubby likes any of the ones I like, so we’re still undecided.
Can anyone come up with a 2 middle name combo to make [name]Sierra[/name] or [name]Belle[/name] work? My older daughter really wants [name]Belle[/name]. Her second choice is [name]Love[/name].
[name]Arrow[/name] [name]Sierra[/name] [name]Belle[/name] & [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Belle[/name] [name]Sierra[/name] just does not work though. Either of these would have to be the 2nd middle name.
I know [name]Arrow[/name] Heart isn’t a far stretch from [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Love[/name], but [name]Arrow[/name] Heart just really makes me think of cupid. Oddly, [name]Arrow[/name] [name]Love[/name] doesn’t make me think of cupid.
shaymin2 - gonna try to have hubby go over your suggestions tonight. I know some of them he’ll say no 'cause they were originally my likings for first name.
Since the name [name]Arrow[/name] is really quite androgynous, I would really like to see the middle name be feminine. Plus, I think it’s a good idea to pair her name with something more familiar and classic, giving her the option to go by her middle name in the event that she has a strong dislike for her first.
I just have to say that I heard the name Strummer once, and it sounds ike something you might like. [name]Arrow[/name] Strummer… Strummer [name]Arrow[/name]… It’s a kind of cool name and sounds a little like [name]Summer[/name] so it’s not crazy, but it doesn’t sound so much like it that lots of people will confuse the two.
