So, we have a 3d ultrasound scheduled for this weekend that will tell us the gender of baby #2 due [name_u]June[/name_u] 5th. I am SO excited!
If it’s a girl we have [name_f]Cora[/name_f] picked out, as we have since before we even started a family. We went into the anatomy scan with our first having [name_f]Cora[/name_f] picked out as well, and it turned out to be a boy! After many name ‘arguments’ we agree on [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] “[name_u]Jem[/name_u]”.
We can’t for the life of us pick a boys name this time either. We both have a few we loved and can’t find much to compromise on.
Some on My list-
[name_u]Noah[/name_u]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
Some on His list-
[name_m]Merrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Maverick[/name_m]
[name_m]McCoy[/name_m]
[name_m]Callen[/name_m]
Compromise Names-
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m]
Maybe [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
We really feel sad that we have to compromise on something that we both don’t love. Though I think once we pick something we will fall in love. We’ve literally been through every name on nameberry.
I don’t like the modern feel of all of my husbands choices. I’m not sure what he doesn’t like about my names. I’m honestly easy to please. He however, is not, and the few names he does like are of course names that I don’t like.
My top choice from our compromises is [name_u]Finley[/name_u], but it’s his least favorite and would take convincing. I like [name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I think I could also love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Levi[/name_m] if they had the proper middle name. Something that ‘spices’ them up a bit without being over the top. Some thoughts were-
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Kit[/name_u]
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]
Something meaningful would be great as a middle. I love reading. My favorite books are to kill a mockingbird, little women, and the little house on the prairie books. We love the ocean as well, though nature names seem a bit too ‘hippy’ for us. [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is a family name after many ‘Katherines’.
To me, [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] had a [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] sort of feel. It was traditional with a modern twist. Not so common as [name_u]James[/name_u], but still perfectly recognizable. It also could fit any personality. We are looking for the same this time!
Any help would be great!
