[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys, I’m writing a sci-fi, originally it’s fantasy, but it doesn’t really matter now. I’m looking for nice low fantasy names for my characters. I like for example Adriaan, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_u]Arlen[/name_u]… they may be earth-like, I don’t want any names like [name_f]Aalaiya[/name_f] or sth like that…
It’s in fictional word and people here have this form of name: name after mother/father/another family member - name given by parents, usually with deeper meaning - surname.
If you have an idea for just beautiful surname, I’ll be very happy too ^^
My second problem is about story title. As I mentioned before, my story is a young adult sci-fi.
The main character, call her [name_f]Anne[/name_f], is a girl who live in a slum in country named Efratea with her brother and grandmother. She doesn’t know she’s a princess of her nation, because this nation is now forgotten. There’s one organisation which wants to get some land and establish a new country for this nation by revolution. [name_f]Anne[/name_f]'s brother joins this organisation and goes to the capital city as a soldier. [name_f]Anne[/name_f] doesn’t know this and she’s looking for him. She’s found by this organisation and she’s working as a housemaid for the royal family. There she fells in love with prince and finds her brother. The organisation wants her to help them to kidnap the prince so they can extort the king and he’ll has to give them the land. But [name_f]Anne[/name_f] refuses to help and escapes with the prince to his grandparents. Later they are found by king and brought back to the capital. While is prince doing his duties in another country, [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is punished in jail, then she finds out she’s pregnant with prince. The queen finds out and sends a soldier to beat her up and [name_f]Anne[/name_f] aborts. When the prince comes back, hes angry on his stepmother and tells everything to king. [name_f]Queen[/name_f] is organising king’s death, she sends soldiers to kill him, but it doesn’t succeed and queen is sent to jail, where she’ll be executed. She escapes and joins the organisation, which now wants only bloody revolution, not new country for the nation. The revolution is defeated and the story ends with happyend, [name_f]Anne[/name_f] and prince gets married and [name_f]Anne[/name_f]'s nation isn’t forgotten anymore, but its people still live as they lived before. Only one change is that they have seats in parliament or sth like this, I hadn’t think this up yet.
