So baby boy we’re currently pregnant with now has a firm name [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (he’ll go by [name_u]Finn[/name_u] <3) but we’re talking about siblings already! (Although we won’t be trying until he’s at least 10 months for a 2nd one).
We really like Finnegan Alexander (Finn) and Sullivan Michael/Sullivan Lewis (Sully) as siblings. Sullivan was my late brother and also my mom’s maiden name so it has a history behind it that we love.
I love the names together! Especially with [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] having special meaning to your family. Though I do prefer [name_m]Solly[/name_m] to [name_u]Sully[/name_u], sort of a stretch but I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_m]Solly[/name_m] more.
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Sully[/name_u] is great, as are [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]! They have a similar cadence, but if they’ll go by [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Sully[/name_u], I think it’d be fine. What a great duo! Out of curiosity, would you still use [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] if baby #2 was a girl? [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]?
No. This pregnancy was kind of an either or so either we had a [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] or a [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. They’re too similar for me. My #1 girl name has always been [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], I also like [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cathleen[/name_f]. We’ll see what the future brings
