Finn & Remi

Do you see them as full names or nicknames?

Would [name_u]Finn[/name_u] work better as a nickname for [name_u]Finley[/name_u] or [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] or does it work fine on its own?

Remi for a girl - could it work as short for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]?

Remi for a boy - does it work as a full name or would it work better as a nickname? Aside from [name_u]Remington[/name_u], can you think of a full name?

Finn works wonderfully on its own, but I like [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] as well!
I do think [name_u]Remi[/name_u] could work as a nn for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], but I prefer [name_u]Remi[/name_u] for boys as a standalone. I love both these names so much!!
edit: maybe [name_m]Artem[/name_m] as a full for [name_u]Remi[/name_u]?

I totally agree with this  [name_u]Finn[/name_u] works fine on its own, but it’s cute as a nickname too. I’m not a fan of [name_u]Remi[/name_u] but it works for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].

Love [name_u]Finn[/name_u] (b) and [name_u]Remi[/name_u] (g) on their own for first names, especially paired with longer middles

I do prefer [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] (b) and [name_u]Remington[/name_u] (g) though!

Finn and [name_u]Remi[/name_u] both work perfect fine on their own. I really like [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] & [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], though!

Remi doesn’t work as a nn for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] imo, but [name_u]Romy[/name_u] definitely does!

Jeremy could be a full name for [name_u]Remy[/name_u]/Remi for a boy.

Finn works fine on its own! I also love [name_u]Finley[/name_u].

Remi from [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] is a bit of a stretch. I’ve known a few girls named [name_u]Remi[/name_u]/Remy (a couple were short for [name_u]Remington[/name_u], the others just had [name_u]Remy[/name_u] as a full name). I think it works as a full name for boys and girls.

Finn definitely works on its own but I prefer [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] and [name_m]Finnan[/name_m]

I met a girl named [name_u]Remi[/name_u] on it’s own and I think plain [name_u]Remi[/name_u] is nicer than [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]. [name_m]Rembrandt[/name_m] could be a name maybe? [name_m]Remus[/name_m], Reims, Rhemoi

Hi there.

I totally think that [name_u]Finn[/name_u] works on its own. But I also like it as a nn for [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] or [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m]. I love [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] (even though people use [name_u]Finley[/name_u] for girls a lot…), but [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] nn [name_u]Finn[/name_u] seems more awkward. I guess because [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] is short by itself, & it only has one ‘n’.

As for [name_u]Remi[/name_u], I’m not a fan of it for a girl. However, I’m not nearly as offended by boyish names for girls when they’re nns. [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] nn [name_u]Remi[/name_u] is a great idea. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] could probably work too if you’re into that.

I like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] for a boy. This spelling looks more boyish. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_u]Remy[/name_u] seems totally nice on its own for a boy. I don’t like [name_u]Remington[/name_u] much. Although my husband loves it for the gun reference… Not sure about other full names. Maybe [name_m]Raymond[/name_m]?

Hope this helps.

Finn and [name_u]Remi[/name_u] are ADORABLE!!
