Finn

] passes a list of names by my husband last night and I was thrilled that he picked these…

[name]Jameson[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Callen[/name]
[name]Oakley[/name]
Learic

and best of all… [name]Finn[/name]!

The problem is though, that he is not completely sold on [name]Finn[/name] yet. And I as well would love a longer form with the nn Finnn. But I really dont like [name]Finnian[/name] or Finnius or Phineus or [name]Finnley[/name]. So I was wondering if you guys could help me come up with some.more.creative ways to get to [name]Finn[/name]! I am up for anything, even if its a bit of a stretch. This one is a challenge!

[name]Finnegan[/name]! I really like that one!

[name]Griffin[/name]? Wish I had used that for my [name]Finn[/name], but in the end he is [name]Finn[/name] and not a [name]Griffin[/name], so I guess it worked out. I also like scandinavian names like Torfinn and Finnbjorn, but that may not be your style, looking at your other names.

I agree! [name]Finnegan[/name] is on my list and although I probably wouldn’t use [name]Finn[/name] often it’s still a viable and obvious way to get to [name]Finn[/name]

My favorite way to get to [name]Finn[/name] is [name]Finch[/name]!

[name]Finn[/name] is a name in its own right and doesn’t need a longer version. Especially, if he will be called [name]Finn[/name]. However, [name]Griffin[/name] would by my favorite way to get there.

[name]Flynn[/name] or [name]Griffin[/name] could be used.

[name]Haven[/name]'t seen [name]Fintan[/name] suggested yet.

I have a [name]Finn[/name]- I personally think [name]Finn[/name] on its own is the best option rather than a longer version, especially if you just plan to call him [name]Finn[/name] anyway. Give him a longer more formal middle name if you want his name to feel more “complete.” We actually call him [name]Finnegan[/name] for fun lol so that’s always an option.

Good point! A nickname doesn’t always have to be a shorter version of the name. :>
