Fiona or Viola

What do you think of these names? [name]Do[/name] you like one better then the other?

Sorry, this is no help, but I adore them both. [name]Viola[/name] is certainly more rare, but [name]Fiona[/name] is so sweet.

[name]Fiona[/name]!

I am growing quite fond of them both too! I even have the hubby onboard with [name]Fiona[/name]. It is always a small victory when he likes a name I love. I have not asked him abt [name]Viola[/name] but he does like [name]Violet[/name] so [name]Viola[/name] might be an option!

I love [name]Fiona[/name]! As for [name]Viola[/name]…it just sounds a lot harsher to me and I tend to think of the instrument. However, I think [name]Violet[/name] is a lovely name.

[name]Hi[/name] there, Zard. I love both, too, so I’m useless here. Wait. Paired with your little [name]Emery[/name], I think [name]Fiona[/name] is actually a better match.

[name]Fiona[/name]! I just love it!

They’re both great. [name]How[/name] about a compromise that incorporates both – the first in appearance, and the second in meaning:

Fialka

This is a Russian name, meaning “violet.”

– [name]Nephele[/name]

Thanks for all your input! I think [name]Fiona[/name] wins out for me. I like [name]Viola[/name] but I like [name]Violet[/name] or maybe [name]Violetta[/name] nn [name]Etta[/name]? I have a new love for [name]Etta[/name] as a nn! :)I think my short list right now is
[name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Violetta[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name]
Middle name would most likely be [name]Anne[/name] or [name]Elizabeth[/name].
