What do you guys think about [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]? I’m really loving it lately but don’t know if it fits with the more classic names I tend to gravitate towards. What impressions do you get from the name?

I’ve been loving [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] lately, too! I’ve been so stuck on combos, but I think she’s darling. I can certainly see [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] as a sister to some of the names in your signature–particularly [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

I only think of Shrek when I hear [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]…

I’ve always thought [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] is a lovely name! I’ve gravitated towards it more recently, however. I think that it could definitely got in with the names in your list, given the right combination, especially [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]!

Thanks I’m loving this name but it’s a little unusual for me and I’m having a hard time pairing it with sibling names.

I love [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]! I always see it as a classic Irish name. I met a baby named [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] a few years ago. She was, seriously, one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. So, for me, I associate [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] with beauty.

I love it. I think of [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Apple[/name_f] before I think of Shrek. The only somewhat convincing negative thing I’ve heard is that in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]/[name_f]Ireland[/name_f] it’s become dated, like [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] here. But if you are in the US I think it’s plenty fresh.

I think [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] would be gorgeous together. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] works too.

I love [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]! It might be my favorite name of all time. I imagine a smart, beautiful, dark haired woman with a quick wit and a contagious laugh :).

Regarding sibs, I like [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] & [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] & [name_f]Norah[/name_f], and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] & [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. If I could pick a favorite of these I’d say [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] & [name_f]Norah[/name_f].
