First and last name ending in similar sound?

Looking for input! We’re having a girl in a few weeks and are strongly considering the name [name_f]Margaux[/name_f], but the challenge I’m having is my baby’s last name will be Blancho. [name_u]French[/name_u] origin…and at one point may have had a 'T" that dropped off. For this reason, we’re not going with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling. What are thoughts on [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] Blancho? Too similar in sound for first and last? …I’m leaning yes. Any thoughts?

Other names we’re agreeing on but like less are
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]

I also like…
[name_f]Ines[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurel[/name_u]
I’m concerned about popularity on a few and husband isn’t a fan. Middle will be [name_f]Constance[/name_f] (family name). Any other suggestions?!? Siblings are [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] (NN Poppy) [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m].

Thanks!

It wouldn’t bother me. In many languages, personal names have strict gender rules, for that reason many names end in same letters (think Russian female names) so it’s not unheard of. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] and Blancho don’t share many sounds anyway. I’d say go for it!

I think [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] (Bea) and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] are the winning team!

It would bug me but its not bad. Id go with one of your other choices if you love them too.

[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] Blancho isn’t ideal because the first and last name have the same vowels. However, I don’t think this means you shouldn’t use [name_f]Margaux[/name_f].

I think it could work

i mean it’s definitely not terrible so if you like it enough then i’d say you should name her that

also what about the name Estella nn Stella?

If you are questioning I would not use it. I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] are great with siblings. :cherry_blossom:
