Hubby has been the one to come up with all of the names. His top choice is [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], for his Hebrew and my [name_m]French[/name_m] heritage… we thought [name_u]Ari[/name_u] might be a cute nickname.
Thoughts? He doesn’t care for the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling and prefers [name_f]Margo[/name_f]… but for some reason I like it better with the ‘t’ at the end.
I think it’s a sweet name. [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] fits in well with all the Arias and Isabellas with a little more uniqueness, and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] helps add a bit of weight and complexity. I agree that the spelling with the “t” looks more complete and namelike.
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is such lovely name. I think you should keep the t on the end if you’re using it to honour your french heritage.
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Ari[/name_u]’ [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is nice. I see where your husband is coming from as the T doesn’t sit so well with me either, but, if the intention is to honor [name_m]French[/name_m] heritage, then it does make sense to keep the T ending (or use [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]).
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is lovely! I would use the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] spelling to honour your [name_m]French[/name_m] heritage.
