I am delighted to tell you that my wonderful husband and I are expecting our first child. We don’t know the gender yet, so below I will write a list of boys’ and girls’ names. I hope you can comment on them and give me any suggestions you have. Thank you so much!
Girls
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] (baby is due in [name_u]March[/name_u]/[name_f]April[/name_f], and [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] means spring in Hebrew)
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
Another possible middle name: [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]?
My favorites of the combos you have listed are [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] are also stunning.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is gorgeous! I much prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] over [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is very elegant and classy, yet so underused! [name_f]Stella[/name_f] to me is a bit outdated and makes me think of the word stale.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] - is this [name_f]May[/name_f]-uh or My-uh? I think My-uh sounds better with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], but would be spelt [name_f]Mya[/name_f], [name_f]Myah[/name_f], or [name_f]Miah[/name_f].
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - this is also lovely. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is so unexpected
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] would be nice too. I love both [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], but I see them more as sisters (I put [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] in the same category as [name_f]Clara[/name_f], where its classy and beautiful, but underused.
Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - this would be perfect if it were spelt [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]! [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is absolutley stunning
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_m]Holden[/name_m] - Its okay. I really like [name_m]Holden[/name_m], but [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] isn’t really my style
[name_m]Jackson[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - this is wonderful too. I prefer [name_u]Gray[/name_u] over [name_u]Grey[/name_u] for a name, but its still great.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - [name_m]Asher[/name_m] is quite trendy and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is traditional. In some ways thats really nice to have a combo of both but in other ways it just doesnt fit. I’d probably use maybe [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is so precious. She sounds like a star. Very glamourous. I would keep her on your list. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is also gorgeous but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is my favourite of the two. I think because [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is close to the ever popular [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] gang.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is beautiful. More down to earth than [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. It sounds so strong to me. Again I’d keep her on the list.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is not my favourite. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is so popular and I don’t like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. It’s less striking than your other options. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] also sounds more modern whereas [name_f]Maia[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are more classic. I think that’s [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]'s vibe. What about [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (pronounced Ee-fah)?
Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] are both lovely. I like Ronen but I prefer the [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] spelling. I think you would have to explain the spelling which is something to think about.
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] have very similar sounds so I wouldn’t use them together. What about [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Holden[/name_m] instead?
Out of your names, my favourite combos would be [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]/[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. Out of your combos, I like [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m].
Out of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f], I much prefer the [name_f]Stella[/name_f] combo, it’s absolutely gorgeous. For some reason, the flow in the [name_f]Clara[/name_f] combo feels off to me. I also really like [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], it feels very girly and elegant, but I think the [name_f]Stella[/name_f] combo is more fun. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] feels much simpler than the other girls’ combos, it’s pretty but the others just feel more interesting and elegant.
My favourite of your boy combos would be [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_m]Holden[/name_m] by far. [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is so handsome and Raf is a lovely nickname, and it pairs beautifully with [name_m]Holden[/name_m]. [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] both feel overly popular and trendy to me if you live in the States, and I’m not a huge fan of either name. The middles are both lovely though. I like the Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] combo, but I think the [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] spelling is much nicer. I think [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] could be a nice combo.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]/[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f]. I don’t know if it is because of Vinx I have to watch Everyday but I associate [name_f]Stella[/name_f] with the cartoon character alot.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] - This is gorgeous. I love [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and its variants alot.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - not my favorite I would actually pair [name_f]Eva[/name_f] with [name_f]Annalise[/name_f].
Boys
Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] - love this! Although [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] isn’t a name I would use, it is still a great name.
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m] (Raf) [name_m]Holden[/name_m] - eh good but Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is still favorite. I am not keen on [name_m]Holden[/name_m] that much.
[name_m]Jackson[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] - love this! [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] has good associations with me due to [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] Wang, a gorgeous young boy who deserved lots of love, and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is my GP along with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] ^^
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - not my favorite sorry.
Btw it is nice to see you consider [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] for your babies birth month I did the same with Yaz, it means summer in Turkish but Ilkyaz means spring so it covers both I guess.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is stunning, [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is one of my favorite names ever! For a boy I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m] - and I don’t find them similar in sound at all.
My favorites are [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. Both are stunning! I would prefer the [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] spelling, however, since Ronen just looks off to me. [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] is the traditional spelling and since the name is uncommon, there’s no reason to change it. I disagree with the poster who said [name_f]Maia[/name_f] would be said may-uh. I would have never said it like that on instinct. The [name_f]Maia[/name_f] spelling is easily my favorite!
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m]! [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is also lovely. I like Ronen [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], but personally I would go for [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] to avoid the inevitable misspellings.
