Looking for a boys name to go with sister [name]Emma[/name]… Here’s what we like
[name]Noah[/name]- [name]Don[/name]'t like the -ah ending with [name]Emma[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name]- Feels like it’s lacking a spark
[name]Owen[/name]- Might be too vowel heavy with [name]Emma[/name], DH says all he sees is “OW”
[name]Declan[/name]- Irish name we both like
[name]William[/name] “[name]Will[/name]”- I’ve always liked this name. It’s so handsome. Hubby likes it because its “normal,” LOL.
[name]Aiden[/name]- Too vowel heavy with [name]Emma[/name]? I love my vowels!
[name]Julian[/name]- We like this one but don’t love it
[name]Patrick[/name]- [name]Will[/name] this get shortened to [name]Pat[/name]?
[name]Jonah[/name]- Same problem as [name]Noah[/name]. I was talking with my dad about the name and he thinks it sounds like doughnut (??? [name]Lord[/name], help me!)
Middle names (in honor of):
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Jacob[/name]
[name]Scott[/name]
[name]John[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Noah[/name]- I agree - too matchy with [name]Emma[/name].
[name]Lucas[/name]- it is getting a bit tired. Have you considered [name]Lucien[/name], [name]Lucius[/name], or [name]Lorcan[/name]?
[name]Owen[/name]- I actually like [name]Owen[/name] with [name]Emma[/name]. Men are so weird and literal about names!
[name]Declan[/name]- [name]Emma[/name] is quite popular where [name]Declan[/name] is a bit more obscure. But this is a handsome name. [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Declan[/name] share a vowel sound but I don’t think they’re too matchy at all.
[name]William[/name] “[name]Will[/name]”- It is indeed handsome. If the popularity doesn’t bother you, [name]William[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] sound wonderful together. And your husband really sounds like mine, ha!
[name]Aiden[/name]- [name]Emma[/name], [name]William[/name], even [name]Owen[/name] are popular, but not trendy. They have some time and history to lend them weight, gravitas, if you will. [name]Aiden[/name] not so much. It’s pure trendy. Avoid.
[name]Julian[/name]- [name]Julian[/name] is too feminine for me. So much so that it’s hard to recommend.
[name]Patrick[/name]- I avoid [name]Patrick[/name] because either [name]Pat[/name] or [name]Rick[/name] seem inevitable. And I hate them both.
[name]Jonah[/name]- doughnut? I feel your pain! But I would avoid this because of the -ah ending.
[name]William[/name] [name]Edward[/name]
[name]Owen[/name] [name]Jacob[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Scott[/name]
[name]Lukas[/name] [name]John[/name] - I prefer the k spelling, adds verve
[name]William[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Just[/name] a few suggestions. You could play around with those combos a lot.
I vote for [name]Will[/name] and [name]Emma[/name], based on your thoughts and agree with all your thoughts… [name]William[/name] [name]Edward[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] are fitting!
I like [name]William[/name]/[name]Will[/name] a lot, but i’m a sucker for [name]Patrick[/name]. i read a book where a character named [name]Patrick[/name] was nicknamed Patch, which i thought was adorable. That’s just a thought - the name by itself is so awesome, and i think if you always call him by his full name other people will too.
