Please help! We are having a hard time choosing a boy option for our baby due in a few weeks.
Our first daughter, our beloved [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], was stillborn. Our second daughter is [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. We’re hoping to find a name that goes with both [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], if possible.
What do you think of the following options?
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] (too much with the -y ending?)
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Emil[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]
I think they all fit fairly well, but my vote goes to [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u].
[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] is great but it did seem similar to [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]'s MN [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. [name_m]Emil[/name_m] I adore but it seemed a little more dusty than the rest of the sibset, and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] maybe is a little much with the repeated ending.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] - yes it is too much with the -y ending, with this sibset [name_u]Remy[/name_u] could be a girl
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] - love
[name_m]Emil[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] - feels like the odd name out
[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] - love the most, feel it has a slightly older vibe than [name_m]Julian[/name_m] and goes great with this sibset
I personally like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] with your other children’s names. I think it goes well. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_u]Remy[/name_u].
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] is my favourite, but I also like [name_m]Lucian[/name_m]. They both go well with [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] in my opinion.
I wouldn’t go for [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u] at all because it looks like “[name_u]July[/name_u] 'n [name_u]August[/name_u]”
I like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] the best.
