This is a short list from my husband and I throwing out names. Our only rules are we don’t want it to match a family members still living (my cousins are popping babies out like crazy) and it can’t be in the top 50. My husband and I both dealt with having common names in school.
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] or [name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] would be my vote. If you don’t want to switch the order, I would go with [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
My favorite is [name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. I don’t know much about [name_u]Blake[/name_u]'s popularity currently, but it is familiar and not overused. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is a wonderful classic name. [name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] “[name_m]Warner[/name_m]” is a solid name!
[name_m]Brendon[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] works well with your last name.
I quite like [name_u]Chase[/name_u], but it doesn’t quite seem to flow with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m].
[name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Warner[/name_m] is really solid.
Thanks everyone, I like [name_u]Blake[/name_u] or [name_m]Brendon[/name_m]… I’m not sold on the more common spelling for [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] because if we have a second and it’s a girl almost all the names on the list seem to end with an ‘a’ or ‘an’ sound. I know changing the spelling to ‘on’ won’t change a lot of people’s pronunciation.
I also consider whether [name_m]Brent[/name_m] would be an acceptable nickname. I also liked [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] as a middle name but wasn’t sure I liked it with the first names chosen. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is a nice first name but I never loved [name_m]Tom[/name_m] as a nickname.
My name is [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and depend on accent it’s ‘in’ or ‘on’. My hubby threw me when we were dating he said my name with the au as a soft ‘o’ and the end as an ‘an’ sound.
