First child - name input!

My husband and I are expecting our first child, a boy, on [name_u]January[/name_u] 1!
I feel like choosing a name has been sort of anxiety-inducing for me, but there is one name that we both really like and I’m looking for feedback.

[name_m]Peregrin[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] Coffey. We are both big fans of LotR but even apart from that I think it’s a very nice-sounding name. More “normal” middle name in case he hates it :smiley: Nicknames would probably be [name_u]Perry[/name_u] and/or [name_u]Perrin[/name_u].

Thoughts?

It’s definitely very unique. I think a lot of people would have trouble spelling our pronouncing it, though.

I like it and its association with LotR. I would use [name_m]Pip[/name_m] as a nickname. :slight_smile: I also like [name_u]James[/name_u] in the middle. It’s a winner to me!
