I only have a few weeks to go and am now starting to panic. I think you’re all sick of my posts and my name lists by now, but I really want something that both DH and I will love.
A while ago we had agreed to Elena Violet, which I was quite happy with, but yesterday Dh didn’t seem to like it that much.
The other two names on our list were Marina and Julia.
Dh said Marina reminded him too much of a boat dock, which is fair enough. My problem with Julia is I dislike the sound in Spanish, and it rhymes with one of our other DD names.
Would love to know your opinions on Elena to help me love it again. Also, if you can suggest anything that you think we may like, that would be amazing.
Thank you so much.

I love [name_f]Elena[/name_f] - of all the popular E names to be used in the last decade I feel like I rarely hear it! I love how it sounds in both [name_f]English[/name_f] and Spanish. And like others have said - it’s regal, but not obviously [name_f]Disney[/name_f] princess fandom level.
I think [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is beautiful and a very good choice!

It reminds me of a recently moved girl from [name_u]Peru[/name_u] I knew although she spelt it [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
I think it’s modern with old roots, classy, and upbeat.

I do love that it sounds beautiful in Spanish too. Definitely a plus for us.
I absolutely love [name_f]Elena[/name_f] with [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. If I had another daughter, that combo would probably be my top choice for middle names. I think it flows amazingly well and is so classic, elegant, and yet still so wearable, with a slightly international/exotic feel. It ticks so many boxes. Good luck with your decision-making. Naming a baby isn’t easy, but I think [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be a lovely choice!

I think all these lovely replies are making me love the name again. I really didn’t want to go through more name lists at this point in time.
Thank you!
