First list WDYT?!

For my little girl due [name]March[/name] we want an unusual name opinions please?
[name]Rae[/name]
[name]Rue[/name]
[name]Farah[/name]
[name]Harmony[/name]
Jadaa
Neeve
[name]Ffion[/name]
[name]Love[/name]
[name]Pandora[/name]
[name]Halle[/name]
[name]Cashmere[/name] (OH is in love with this!)
[name]Yana[/name]
[name]Lilac[/name]
Peppa
[name]Pippie[/name]

[name]Pandora[/name] is like my second favourite girls name so I love this one!!!

[name]Rue[/name] and [name]Lilac[/name] are the other two that I like but [name]Rue[/name] seems too nicknamey.

Jadaa looks silly, [name]Love[/name] isn’t a name and Peppa is too Peppa Pig!!! [name]Pippie[/name] is a nickname but [name]Pippa[/name] would be cute.

[name]Rue[/name] and [name]Pandora[/name] are my favourites. I have [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Rue[/name] lined up for a little girl. Jadaa? Why not spell it [name]Jada[/name]. Thats a perfectly legit name and people will spell it correctly that way. Peppa is, as the previous poster mentioned, waay to Peppa Pig. [name]Do[/name] you really want a pig to be associated with your daughters name? [name]Love[/name], I guess could be used as a first name but I would steer clear of it as a middle name. I have to say, you current childrens names are lovely, why choose an incredibly trendy/misspelled name for another? Is there something Im missing here?
[name]Bree[/name]

Thanks!
Am starting to doubt having an unusual name now :frowning:
We just have no idea :frowning:
[name]Jordan[/name] [name]Casper[/name] is my fave boy name so thats why we chose that, Luice [name]Jess[/name] we both loved [name]Lucy[/name] but were not keen on the spelling & my middle name is [name]Jessica[/name] so we chose [name]Jess[/name] as her mn, [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Florence[/name] is named after my Mother [name]Emilia[/name] (sadly passed) and [name]Florence[/name] is OH’s favourite girl name.

When we first found out I was pregnant we were thinking of choosing another traditional name like [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Kate[/name], [name]Hannah[/name] or maybe even [name]Caitlin[/name]?
The names we came up with were;
[name]Hannah[/name] [name]Freya[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] ‘[name]Lottie[/name]’ [name]Aislyn[/name]
[name]Caitlyn[/name] [name]Mary[/name]-[name]Ann[/name]

Should we stick with more traditional?

I like [name]Farah[/name]. It will be my choice if I have another daughter and I love that it means happiness. I think it’s both a traditional and unusual name in that it’s a well-known name that you don’t hear a lot.

[name]Rae[/name]- I like this, but it seems kind of incomplete. What about [name]Rachel[/name], nn [name]Rae[/name]?
[name]Rue[/name]- I think this is my favorite on your list. [name]Ruth[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are nice too
[name]Farah[/name] - teen mom.
[name]Harmony[/name] - Not terrible. It’s not my style.
Jadaa - Looks misspelled. [name]Jada[/name] is better, still not great.
Neeve - I prefer [name]Neve[/name] or [name]Niamh[/name]
[name]Ffion[/name] - I prefer [name]Fiona[/name]
[name]Love[/name] - kind of like [name]Harmony[/name]. A little too “on the nose.”
[name]Pandora[/name]- I know this is a NB favorite. But I kind of hate it.
[name]Halle[/name] - I like this one
[name]Cashmere[/name] (OH is in love with this!)- sounds kind of trashy to me. Sorry!
[name]Yana[/name] - [name]One[/name] of the better choices on your list. I’d be a little afraid of the yawn beginning
[name]Lilac[/name] - Nice. It’s a little trendier than your other choices.
Peppa - I’m not sure this is a viable name. What about [name]Pepper[/name]? I love hat name.
[name]Pippie[/name] - as in Longstocking? I’m not sure it works.

[name]Even[/name] though [name]Hannah[/name] is pretty popular, it’s one of my favorite names. I think you can strike a middle ground between some of your out there " unusual" names and some of the more traditional names you’re considering. I think [name]Lilac[/name] fits, as does [name]Freya[/name]. Have you considered it as a first?
