We want to call our little girl [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and also use a family name of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
I feel like [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds better than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] however, I don’t want her to be annoyed that she has to explain she goes by her middle name. Is this a big deal?
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]! I prefer it to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in terms of flow, convenience, and just liking [name_f]Rose[/name_f] more for a first name I think either option works, though!
Honestly, I don’t think [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds better at all! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] flows very well and is so classy and sweet. I definitely vote [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] for “[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]”.
I agree with others that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] flows just as well for me as [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! It’s certainly not worth it to put [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in the middle if that’s what she’s going to be called. That seems so unnecessarily complicated if the only reason for it is flow. [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is adorable!
Rose [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is a gorgeous name! [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name sounds refreshing and sweet.I also believe [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katharina[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] would be magnificent choices for a girl.
I would go with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] for sure. I do personally think it’d be frustrating going by your middle name and always having to explain it, especially if the only reason is flow. I also much prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and also feel [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is overdone in the middle spot so even if [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flows a little better, I still overall prefer it the other way around. [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/Rosie is beautiful!
I think [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds slightly nicer, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is very nice as well. I don’t think using the middle name is a huge deal.
Catherine [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be my pick. Not a fan of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] with the K.
Anyway [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] sounds good, the other way around is certainly more usual but I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as first is ok.
I think [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] rolls of the tongue better. What about [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] with nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]?
I’ve known a few girls that went by their middle names (maybe a southern US thing?), and some would seem frustrated by having to always clarify what name they go by. I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] flows just fine! If you’re worried about the first being too short, what about [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]?
