So looking for everyone’s amazing help on a few questions:
-
I always loved the name Irelynn. My sister-in-law’s brother had a daughter and named her Irelynn about a year or so ago. Can I still use that name, or would it be weird? We only ever see them at my niece/nephews birthday parties throughout the year.

So my top girl names are Irelynn, [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_m]Finnley[/name_m]. I wanted to use my mom’s name as the middle name, which is [name_u]Joan[/name_u], it’s a short, hard name and I find it doesn’t flow great with these first names. What do you all think? Also, I’m not opposed to having two middle names either to help with the flow.
Thanks everyone!
I would go with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u]. Irelynn and [name_m]Finnley[/name_m] are not my style. They feel trendy and misspelled. Here are a few you might like:

Another vote for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u].
Irelynn is very kre8if and uncommon, so if you used it would look like “name stealing” whether you had the idea first or not. Sorry!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the pp’s suggestions.
Irelynn is beautiful, and no, I don’t think it would be weird for you to use it. The other little miss is far enough removed from you, that I don’t see it as a problem. “Name stealing” is just petty in my opinion. If you like a name, use it. It shouldn’t matter where it came from or how you got the idea.
I find [name_u]Joan[/name_u] a bit of a harsh name, but if you are set on it, I would probably go with [name_m]Finnley[/name_m] [name_u]Joan[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is too overused and too common. And sadly, I don’t think [name_u]Joan[/name_u] is sweet enough to flow nicely with Irelynn.

I think using Irelynn would be strange. It’s an unusual name, though very pretty, but made even more uncommon by the spelling.
I like [name_u]Finley[/name_u] (this spelling) a lot.
[name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] or [name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u] would be great.
