With my best friend pregnant with baby #2, my name nerdiness is kicking in extra hard lately! I’m currently loving the idea of first/middles that could be combined into a nickname.
For example, my husband recently said he liked the name [name_m]Julian[/name_m] for a boy…normally, it’s not my style, but then I thought of [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] ([name_m]David[/name_m] honors my father) with the nickname [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is a name I like but don’t know if I’d use on its own, so this sort of kills 3 birds with one stone.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any ideas like this for girls? One I thought of but am not 100% sold on is [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I’d love to hear your suggestions on some “smoosh” names!
