What do you think about August Woods? Last name is one syllable.
It does feel very nature(y) and I do like it. We seldom use or say our middle name so he will be known as [name_m]August[/name_m] (last name) or do you plan to use a nickname? I would maybe avoid [name_m]Gus[/name_m] with a one syllable last name as it will probably sound choppy.

Hmm, I quite like [name_m]Woods[/name_m] but I wonder if a one syllable middle going into anyone syllable last name is a bit staccato and jumpy? Depends if it flows - it might almost make [name_m]Woods[/name_m] seem like first in a double barrelled last name?

I think [name_m]Auggie[/name_m] is a super cute nickname, too, if you want to avoid [name_m]Gus[/name_m] with a one syllable surname (although I don’t think something like [name_m]Gus[/name_m] [name_m]Tate[/name_m] or [name_m]Gus[/name_m] [name_m]Vance[/name_m] sounds bad at all?). I love the [name_m]August[/name_m] family; I would love to meet a little baby [name_m]August[/name_m]
