First name down. Please help with middle name.

First off, I want to say thank you for everyone’s opinions in name spelling. We decided to go with the spelling [name]Devon[/name].

Now that our first problem is fixed, our second is a middle name. I don’t know where to start or what style to use. Since her last name would start with a P, I don’t want initials that spell out anything inappropriate, demeaning, or odd. Help?

Of the middle names given in my last post, I liked:
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Gabriella[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]

Middle names I like:
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Ava[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Avery[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Juliana[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Mia[/name]-[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name]

New Names I like:

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Ainsley[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Elisabeth[/name] (I like the S better than the Z)
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Mackenzie[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Mikaela[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Nicole[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Noelia[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Rosalyn[/name]

I love [name]Devon[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name]. I also think [name]Devon[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] would be nice!

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Avery[/name] is very pretty!

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Gabriella[/name]: I think [name]Gabriella[/name], but something about the flow seems off to me. Hmm…

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]: I think this flows really well…

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Ava[/name]: I think a longer middle name sounds better with [name]Devon[/name], and [name]Devon[/name] [name]Ava[/name] sounds pretty V heavy to me. I think a V sound could work in the middle, but only if it’s towards the end of a longer middle.

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Avery[/name]: I think the longer middle works better than [name]Ava[/name], but it’s still V heavy to me because the Vs are so close together. Now that I think about it, I’d personally go with a non-unisex middle with the unisex [name]Devon[/name].

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Grace[/name]: I think this works, but as much as I love the name [name]Grace[/name], it feels like a “filler” middle to me these days. (It’s so popular in the middle now…)

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Juliana[/name]: I think this is pretty…

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Mia[/name]-[name]Rose[/name]: I think some of the others have a better flow…

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]: I think this works well because the V sounds aren’t on top of each other…

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name]: Because [name]Devon[/name] is a place, [name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name] makes me think of the sky over [name]Devon[/name].

I totally forget the middles that were suggested before, so I’m really sorry for repeats!

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]

From your list, [name]Devon[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] has the best flow to me, with [name]Devon[/name] [name]Juliana[/name] in second place. I think the [name]Devon[/name] spelling is great, and I just remembered a little [name]Devon[/name] I once knew who was absolutely darling.

Take care!

There are some pretty middle names here and the flow is good.

[name]Alexandra[/name] and [name]Juliana[/name] stand out.

PS Re [name]Devon[/name] I can’t get my mind around it being a sausage which is very common on children’s sandwiches.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Devon[/name] [name]Spencer[/name]?

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name].
Here in SoCal, I never heard of [name]Devon[/name] sausage on children’s sandwiches. I have heard of Dodger Dogs and balogna. Ooo, suddenly I have a hankering for some balogna from this incredible deli, mmm.

Talking of food [name]Susan[/name], the lovely smell of baked turkey is wafting down the stairs as I write, as is the roast pork with that tricky crackling (do you know a foolproof way of getting it to crackle?)

Tomorrow ([name]Christmas[/name] [name]Day[/name]) we will have a food fest and I can’t wait, better than devon sandwiches without a doubt.

Sorry, the only meat I’m really good at cooking is chicken. I’m also good with salmon. My husband is great at cooking beef. Our daughter is going to cook veal and beef for [name]Christmas[/name]. I made Sangria jello which is luscious, and I’m making soup today. Oh, and muffins, too, for the brunch we will bring to eat with my m-i-l.

[name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name] is my fav! I also like [name]Devon[/name] [name]Ann[/name]

lovely choice in my opinion, as I share the same first name, but I spell it “[name]Devin[/name]”. my middle name is [name]Rose[/name]. I very much like how [name]Devin[/name] [name]Rose[/name] flows. There also happens to be an actual flower called [name]Devin[/name] [name]Rose[/name] somewhere. I also like
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Sky[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Dawn[/name]
