First name ends with same sound last name begins with?

Curious- would you use a name you loved, if the end sound of it ran right into the same sound the last name began with? [name_m]Case[/name_m] in point: [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] Konnelly. When you say it fast, it either sounds like “brooke onnelly,” or one word brookonnelly. It kind of bothers me but I love the name [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] so much, I wonder if I’d get over it? Funny enough, if it were going to be a boy, it would have definitely been [name_m]Clark[/name_m], but for some reason that same problem never bothered me. Would you still use it or look for anuther name?

I feel like it’d be fine. Most people only introduce themselves by their first name, anyways. If it was a different letter, such as an “S”, then it’d be harder to deal with, but I think if you love [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] that much, you should go with it!

I agree. I think it’ll be fine. it doesn’t sound as bad as you might think!

In some situations (with certain letters or names) the names blur so much I think it’s a deal breaker. In your case, I think [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] Konnelly works just fine and it would not stop me from using [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] or a name I loved.

I did that with my son and it’s never bothered me.
