Would love some feedback and additional first name ideas. Big brother is [name]Miles[/name]. We’d love to use [name]Jude[/name] as a middle name (family name). I kind of like the idea of a classic, old man name that has a more modern-feeling nickname, but not tied to that idea. Thanks in advance for your help. Can’t wait to see all your ideas!

[name]Hugo[/name] - [name]Hugo[/name]'s great name. [name]Hugo[/name] [name]Jude[/name] though, hmm. It’s OK, but there’s a lot of oo and they’re both short. Not my top pick.
[name]Dashiell[/name] ([name]Dash[/name])- love [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name] & [name]Miles[/name]!
[name]Graham[/name] - [name]Graham[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] is excellent and [name]Graham[/name] [name]Jude[/name] is OK. Again, two pretty short names, but, works better than [name]Hugo[/name] I think.
[name]Sebastian[/name] (nn [name]Ash[/name] or [name]Baz[/name]/Bass) - is it really too popular??? Combines great with [name]Jude[/name], a little bit longer next to [name]Miles[/name] but not bad.
[name]Oliver[/name] (husband hates it) - sad he hates it. I love [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Jude[/name] combo but do you like the initials OJ? [name]Miles[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] is nice.
[name]Caspian[/name] (Doesn’t work with our last name but I adore the feel of this name) - : D. I also don’t think it really works with [name]Miles[/name], though.
[name]Roscoe[/name] - love [name]Roscoe[/name] and [name]Roscoe[/name] [name]Jude[/name]! [name]Miles[/name] and [name]Roscoe[/name] is pretty good.
[name]Eli[/name] - this is a great name, a lot of long I with [name]Miles[/name] though, and again as with [name]Hugo[/name], kind of short with [name]Jude[/name].
[name]Atticus[/name] - seems much more trendy than what you’re going for? It combines well with [name]Jude[/name] though. Less so with [name]Miles[/name].
[name]Augustine[/name] - love it with [name]Jude[/name], don’t necessarily love the name, and it’s a lot longer than [name]Miles[/name].
My favorites are [name]Dashiell[/name], [name]Graham[/name], and [name]Roscoe[/name].
[name]Love[/name] your feedback, thank you! I should have clarified–[name]Jude[/name] isn’t a 100 percent certainty. I’d just really like to use it. But when it comes down to it, the first name is the most important thing and if [name]Jude[/name] doesn’t pair well (as it doesn’t with many on my list) then we’re willing to change it up.

If double middles aren’t your thing I understand (they’re not mine - but I think they can be nice), but, I do think since [name]Jude[/name] is so brief it’s well-suited to a double middle, if you wanted to do [name]Hugo[/name] [name]Caspian[/name] [name]Jude[/name] or something.
