Hello! We are expecting our first child (gender is a surprise) and would love to use the middle name [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] (Pear-ih-doe) if it’s a girl as it has special significance to us. We were originally thinking of pairing it with first name [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but after “trying out” the name for a day, didn’t love it as much as we thought we would.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a first name to go with [name_f]Peridot[/name_f]? We want something classic with a strong history, but not too common, preferably three syllables. We are also considering [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]. I loved the name [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] earlier in the pregnancy and still do (not with the middle name [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] though…), but we can no longer use it for family reasons.
If our baby is a boy, we are using either [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Austin[/name_u] or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Scott[/name_u]. Girls’ names have been so hard for us!
