It seems we love to go with the first name [name_u]Rose[/name_u] for our baby girl.
The middle name we knew we will use (even before getting pregnant) is [name_u]June[/name_u].
We love both names so much. We can’t use [name_u]June[/name_u] in first spot. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the flow is too off ?
Ideally i wanted a two syllable first with [name_u]June[/name_u] as middle. But, we didn’t find/ agree on any first name other than [name_u]Rose[/name_u]!
Pls share your thoughts on flow and sound and feel of [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u].
Thanks all.
i don’t think it flows well, honestly, but loving both names is more important than flow! if you love it, you should use it.
if the flow does worry you, have you considered a longer name with the nickname Rose? maybe Rosa, Rosalind, Rosamund, Rosaline, Rosemary, Rosalie, or Rosie?
I like, not the greatest flow but shouldn’t hold you back. Have you considered [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_f]Junie[/name_f] or [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]?
The flow is just okay imo. Not a dealbreaker if you really love it! I’ll also throw out [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_f]Juna[/name_f] or [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
Both [name_u]Rose[/name_u] & [name_u]June[/name_u] are gorgeous names!
I think the flow of [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] is a little stunted the sound a little disjointed due to the syllable count along with the shorter sounds. I think [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_f]Junia[/name_f], [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] have a better flow but what’s most important is your love for both names. You clearly love both [name_u]Rose[/name_u] and [name_u]June[/name_u] so I would just go for it! Naming a child is a privilege so just use the names you love in the grand scheme of things flow isn’t a huge deal.
I wouldn’t change it just for June to work as it’s so rare we use, let alone say, our middle names. Keep Rose!
Meanwhile, I wouldn’t change June if it’s an honour but if one could be changed for flow (and again, names more important than “perfect” flow) it would be June for me as the (under-utilised) middle. Eg Rose Junia, Rose Juna, Rose Juni(e), Rose Juniper etc. Rose Juna is probaby my fave. But, there’s something very confident about the sunny and tailored Rose June so I would just use them if they’re your stable front runners!
If extending [name_u]June[/name_u] as a way to help the names flow together is something you would consider, I’d like to suggest [name_u]Juno[/name_u] as a middle.
For me it isn’t so much the two one syllable names together, as that they are two familiar words that make them sound a little ‘wrong’ together, for want of a better descriptor.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] and [name_u]June[/name_u] but agree the flow is a little off. Would you consider using a second middle name? Something with two or more syllables?
I don’t think [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] is a dealbreaker especially if you have a multi syllabic last name, so if you love both use them!
I really like the names [name_u]Rose[/name_u] and [name_u]June[/name_u]! Together…it sounds a bit off balanced.
Name suggestions (longer first name and you can call her [name_u]Rose[/name_u] for short!)
