What style do you like and what is the last name like? [name]John[/name] is a great name, also my husband’s first : D. You might be best served by a longer name in first name position (although that again depends in part on your last name), but some shorter names will work. If you’re on the flexible side, [name]Jonas[/name] is a relative name that works with some different firsts. One challenge is that so many boys’ names end in -n, and I think often the rhythm is better if the first and the middle have different ending sounds.
What comes to mind to me are some combos with 3+ syllable names like

I think [name]John[/name] is such a classic and will flow nicely with a lot of different names. It would depend on your style…
Thanks for the suggestions. Part of the reason I’m struggling is because I tend to prefer short first names since our last name is 3 syllables. Last name begins with A. Also, not a big fan of nicknames, so shorter names work well sometimes to avoid nn. But middle name [name]John[/name] is so short and choppy already, so not sure what choices that leaves me for a shorter first name 
looking for a classic name… One that’s kind of in between of being really popular and really unique. A name that people have definitely heard of, but also one that not every 10th boy has. biblical name isn’t a requirement, but would be a plus if we found the one we really liked. Thanks!
