[name_f]My[/name_f] husbands name is [name_u]Micah[/name_u]. We have both agreed that that we do not want a true junior. (It’s just a little to weird to call my son and husband by the same name.) Our thought would be to use [name_u]Micah[/name_u] as a middle name for our LO. But we cannot think of any name that flows well with it as a first name. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Ooooh, I love [name_u]Micah[/name_u]! [name_u]Strong[/name_u], yet soft and elegant sounding. For some reason, I think that a name beginning with J would suit.
Oh I love the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u]! We really like the name [name_m]Judah[/name_m] too. But it’s too similar to [name_u]Micah[/name_u] to use as a pairing.
I love [name_u]Jude[/name_u] too Yes - I think [name_m]Judah[/name_m] and [name_u]Micah[/name_u] together are a bit rhymey. I like [name_m]Judah[/name_m] too though, on its own. It’s one of those names that are recognisable but not used too often.
Finley [name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Josiah[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] [name_u]Micah[/name_u]
Actually, [name_u]Micah[/name_u] seems to go with almost anything!
There are so many names that go well with [name_u]Micah[/name_u], which is a great name BTW, but the most important consideration is to choose a first name that sounds nice with the last name as those two together are how he will be known. We seldom say our first and middle names together on a day-to-day basis. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you feel comfortable sharing the sounds or how many syllables of the last name to help us suggest suitable first names?
It’s Three syllables starting with a V. Another thing to consider is that we have a lot of male nephews and wanted to avoid their names. Here is what is already taken:
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m], [name_m]Richard[/name_m], [name_m]Donald[/name_m], [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Samual[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_u]Levi[/name_u], [name_m]Josiah[/name_m].
Lots of bible names in that mix and lots of common names. Would love something more unique but not obscure!
I really like [name_m]Silas[/name_m]. I know a little boy named [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and instantly thought the name was so adorable. Thanks for the suggestion!
So many choices. But Once I weed our relatives, past bosses, and exes it narrows it down. That’s the hard thing with boy names there are so many associations to people you already know. I love [name_m]Lawerence[/name_m] tho! I’ll add that to my list.
